Belmond-Klemme Wrestling is a shared program with Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, providing student-athletes the opportunity to compete in a strong and well-established wrestling tradition. The program is operated by Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and brings together athletes from both districts to train, compete, and grow within a disciplined and competitive environment.
Wrestling emphasizes individual accountability, mental toughness, and physical preparation. Athletes participate in structured practices, strength and conditioning, technical skill development, and competitive duals and tournaments throughout the season. The sport challenges athletes to set goals, push through adversity, and continually improve both on and off the mat.
Through this cooperative partnership, student-athletes benefit from expanded team numbers, experienced coaching, and a competitive schedule. The shared wrestling program is committed to developing disciplined, resilient young men and women who represent their schools and communities with pride, sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic.
